This is how we reach the winner. That's the only thing it has to do.

The giveaway is open to 78209 and 78212 only.

Official rules

$250 in Local Gift Cards — September 2026 Alamo Heights Spotlight

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chance of winning.

Who can enter

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older and whose primary residence is in ZIP code 78209 and 78212. One entry per household. Employees of Alamo Heights Spotlight and their immediate families are not eligible.

How to enter

Complete the entry form on this page by November 30, 2026, 11:59pm Central. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted after the deadline will not be counted. Automated or bulk entries are void.

The prize

One prize: gift cards to local businesses chosen by Alamo Heights Spotlight, with a total retail value of $250. How that total is divided — how many cards, and which businesses they are for — is at our discretion, so that we never promise a card from a business that has stopped issuing them. The prize is awarded as issued gift cards. It cannot be exchanged for cash, and it cannot be transferred. If a business is unable to issue a card, we will substitute a gift card of equal value to another local business.

The drawing

One winner is selected at random from all valid entries on December 3, 2026. The winner is notified by email at the address on their entry and must respond within 14 days to claim the prize. If we do not hear back within 14 days, we will draw again.

Your email address

Entering adds your email address to the Alamo Heights Spotlight list. We use it to send the current card's deals and news about the neighborhood. We do not sell it and we do not give it to the businesses on the card. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your entry. See our privacy policy.

Odds, and everything else

Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Void where prohibited. This giveaway is sponsored by Alamo Heights Spotlight, San Antonio, Texas, and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by any of the businesses appearing on the card, or by Meta, Google, or the United States Postal Service. By entering you agree to these rules.
